Its getting Harder to blog

I know I have taken quite a hiatus from blogging and I do apologize. The divine weather is making it quite difficult to post. I always feel like I should be outside in the sun and not inside posting.

Lisa's Birthday Get together Rocked

I just had to post this. We all went to the Irish pub on 7th Avenue last weekend, and it has become a sort of tradition. I have no pics, but I had a great time. All I have to say is single malt and never confuse your Roman Gods with Greek Gods.

Flaming Drinks at Tequila Sunrise with Joanne and Tony

l went to this great restaurant in Bay Side called Tequila sunrise. The ultimate attractions are the flaming coffee liqueour drinks they prepare right at the table and the marriachi band that roams the restaurant. They have valet parking, for those of you that may be afraid to venture out into Queens for fear of not finding a spot for your baby.

I haven't seen Joanne in a while as she is attending grad school and now lives in Pittsburgh. So it was nice to finally catch up.

Elliots Awesome Site - The Pedagogic Loggings

My long time friend has a great site, The Pedagogic Loggings of "L" Pimpo, Esq. Why do I love this site and his writing. Well despite the fact that the guy is so dam funny and a grear friend of mine , he writes so well. He has this ability to write just enough about a story to convey emotion and detail which draw the reader in allowing one to relive what he experiences. It seems simple, but you try it. Easy to right about a new product or an event, but try writing about how finding out your family member is ill makes you feel. That is a whole other story. Not to mention his kick ass background of an arm on fire. I wonder if there is any heavy writer's symbolism attached to that.

The Witchs Brew - A Most Unusual Coffee Loungue

Rachel came to visit and after a long night of partying we had to stop off at the Witch's Brew for a pick me up. Its a cute little coffee shop run by two women from California. They have a great story. They inherited their grandmother's house and turned it into an independent coffee shop like no other. It has become a local hang out for teens who are too young to get into bars, but it still maintains a faithful  java slugging caffeine craving adult crowd. There was a little girl there with her parents who questioned "Mommie, are there witches upstairs". What was I thinking, "No sweetie, just good coffee."

Interesting story, we once got kicked out of this fine place because a waitress upset Caroline and that caused a frenzy amongst the group we were with. I have known that girl for a while now, though not well and I have never seen her madder than that time at the brew.

More pics that tell a better story about the place than I could ever write. Oh and by the way, this is located in Hempstead Long Island if you so dare to venture there for a visit.
