Random Train Story

I can't begin to tell you how many people I have met on the LIRR while being stuck for countless minutes in cars with malfunctioning engines, or derailed by the occasional frozen switches or sick passengers.

Well, the other day I met Rob F. from Foto Care. Now as you can see from my header I like to dabble in photography, graphic design, and digital editing.  This guy works at a shop that rents out digital photography equipment to the best of the best. Some of their clients include Annie leibovitz, Mary Kate Olsen, and the list goes on.

In the 15 minutes that I sat on the train and listened to his stories I learned that he started a Minnie cooper club and was planning to drive all over Long Island catching oddity sights like the "Big Duck" and the "Sphinx". So that is Rob. For those of you that don't know about those aforementioned sites, don't panic. This conversation, as most do, sparked my interests (though I have no mini, so I took the SC2 ) in seeing the sites myself. Isn't it odd what motivates us.
